Part 1: Flexible packagings

This document specifies a test method for flexible packaging materials, e.g. pouches and flexible thermoformed packs, which is used to determine the opening force on peelable packaging.

The measurement is carried out in a tensile testing machine which allows the force to be measured and recorded at a constant pull-off speed and angle.
