Part 2: Dimensionally stable packagings

This document specifies a test method for dimensionally stable and semi-rigid packaging, e.g. cans, cups, trays and, where applicable, bottles, which is used to determine the opening force on peelable packaging.

The measurement is carried out in a tensile testing machine which allows the force to be measured and recorded at a constant pull-off speed and angle.
