Standard test method for static, dynamic, and wear assessment of extra-discal single level spinal constructs

The ASTM F2624 standard covers static, fatigue and wear testing of single level motion preserving spinal constructs.

All following loading directions that are described in the standard can be applied for static testing, dynamic testing and wear testing:

• Flexion and extension
• Lateral bending
• Axial rotation
• Offset flexion and offset extension
• Anterior and posterior shear
• Compression bending
