Standard test method for determination of total knee replacementconstraint

The ASTM F1223 test method is used to compare the constraint characteristics of total knee replacements (TKR).

Tests deemed applicable to the constraint determination are:

• anterior-posterior draw test

• medio-lateral shear test

• rotary laxity test

• valgus-varus rotation test

• distraction test
